So! Today is AWESOME. 81 degrees. YESSSS!!!
Michigan has tricky, tricky weather. Dunno why. Maybe it just likes messing with our heads. After 80 degrees for a week, it decided that it likes Winter better and went back to 50 degrees. Grump. But! Today it has, yet again, changed it's bipolar mind. And y'all down in the South best keep your mouths shut about 80s and 90s and whatever. :P
I'm going to do homework outside today. Yes, that's sounds like an excellent plan. A very excellent plan indeed.

Today, I'm in a write-y romantic sort of mood. The abundance of things on my mind, all of which probably shouldn't be on my mind, are forcing African Literature to escape the realm of my focus and attention. Hahaha, that was such a sappy line.

Tomorrow it had better not rain, as we have a rehearsal/set building day at a cottage on a lake. Unfortunately, we can't go swimming, but hanging out outside in 75 degree weather is kind of totally awesome.

Titania and Oberon is going well. We tried one of the lifts and he can only lift me to his shoulders instead of all the way up..... but I'm sure we'll get it. Why do I devote all of my time to ballet?

Okay, so get this. President Obama is talking at the UofM stadium. This means ballet is canceled. I can now say that Obama himself directly affected my life. :P

Oooh, I also just found a cool song! It's hip-hoppy rap, but I really like it. It's called Airplanes by B.o.B with Hayley Williams. It's kinda sad... "Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are shooting stars? I could really use a wish right now." Oops, there's a bad word. If you want to listen to it, here's the link. But it's rap and there's a not so great word. :( Otherwise it's a cool song. And Hayley Williams is DA BOMB! Yes, I just said da bomb. So shoot me. Anyways, she's the singer in Paramore, which is an awesome band. Soooo go check them out.

Whoops, lunchtime. Whoa, and it's already 2:30... I should start reading those (pretty lame) African stories. Peace!

Happy with a Headache...

Hey ya!
I just got home from my friends' house, and we had a pretty awesome time. I have a really bad headache right now, though...

I'm just gonna quote a song that's been stuck in my head.

Best Day...

Wow, yesterday was sheer awesomeness.
Awesome time at the Sparrows' with 6 guys who had little to no sleep the night before, and another girl who was just about as tired as I was. It was interesting...and super duper fun!
- We played Super Smash Bros. Brawl - I won two out of three times. With Kirby. OH YEAH!!
- We drew cool pictures, even if mine were lame... I can't draw very well at all, so I traced the drawings mostly... hehe
- We went on a fairly non-eventful walk in the chilly Spring air. That was fun. Although... I somehow ended up stuck in a British accent...
- My best friend and I had an awesome tickle fight, although it was very one-sided. I'm not ticklish, bwahaha. Needless to say, I ended the victor. That was probably my favourite part of the day. Well... not probably, definitely. :]

All in all, I think it was a perfect day. A very perfect day.

I'm super psyched for ballet right now. My teacher says I'm doing very well, and she even put my in a pas de deux - step of two, in French, freaking awesome in ballet language. It's Titania and Oberon from Midsummer Night's Dream. BLAH I'M SO EXCITED!!! Rehearsal tomorrow!! But that means I have to cram schoolwork... man.... I should actually probably get to that sometime really soon...

Okay... I think I'm done. I don't have much to say, and I should get to schoolwork. So, byebye!

Anyways, so last April 14th something pretty cool happened. But... it's a secret. It'll be a secret until next October. Then I'll tell you. Aren't I so terribly mean? It's not a very exciting secret... but that's okay. It's one of the best things that's happened to me. It's special to me. Special to a person may be super lame for another person... but that's alright. Do you have a super special secret that's only special to you?

I'm in a Relient K kinda mood. They're awesome.

Oh, I have to write something, but I left my notebook in the car.... Hm... Well, I guess I'll get it tomorrow. I don't really want to go outside at 11pm.

So, I started reading a manga called Bleach...again. I've started watching the anime twice, but both times I got really bored... However, the manga is WAY cooler than the anime, even though it doesn't have all the neato sound effects and voices. The manga is 399 chapters so far... I'm at 151. Still a ways to go... But I read pretty fast, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. If you don't mind a lot of fighting and blood, it's a good manga. It's all action-y and cool. But if you don't like nasty stuff or violence, you probably won't want to read it.

Happy Snuday!

That's right, snuday. My friend Tristan, AKA Snuboy, reminded me of it. Last year on this day we had a snuball fight. Yes, that is how random my friends and I are. Also, Snuboy can't talk properly. He tried saying snow, but it turned into snu... Quite the day. If you look at one of the posts I made last April, there's a part about it.

Lately I've been reading manga a lot... It's probably been too much. Anyways, I read this series called W Juliet. It's really good...but kinda weird. It's about this guy who doesn't want to take on his father's job; he wants to be an actor. His father says that if he can get through high school as a girl, he can become an actor. Makoto, the guy, does so, and meets this girl, Ito, who finds out his secret. Surprisingly enough, it's hardly racy at all. I mean, it's really weird..... It's not all morally straight... But it was clean, and I really liked it. It was really sappy and romantic, but I'm a sucker for romantic stories.

Speaking of romantic stories, check out Kite Streamers by Wang Meng. It's a Chinese story, so it's translated into English (by Lu Binghong) but seriously, it's the cutest story I've read.

I'm gonna be out all day tomorrow, so I should probably get some sleep. Dang waking up early on Saturdays. *madface*

Ferris Wheels...

There's probably only one person who knows that reference. Maybe two. Or three.... Well, one person who every once in a blue moon reads this blog. Anyways.

Well, I was supposed to get my driver's license yesterday. Didn't happen. I was suppose to today, but we couldn't fine the papers. Gr. >:(
And for some odd reason, that smiley face makes me laugh. It's just so... odd. It's like a three year old making a mad face at you. Haha....

I think I have a variation picked out for the recital... I'll hopefully do Aurora's dance from Act II, when the Prince is dreaming about her.

My mind is scattered. I should be doing anatomy. I don't want to. I want summer.

It's April 5th!

Duh... Actually, I kept thinking it was Tuesday for some reason... Probably because on Sunday we got home from church at the same time I would have been waking up. I felt like I had an extra day.
Well, we went over to our friend Rachael's house and watched Up after dinner. It's one of the cutest movies I've EVER seen! Seriously, if you haven't seen it, go now!

Uhm... Yeah, I just felt like I should post something. I'm in a really poetic mood, strangely enough. I hate poetry. Well, unless someone writes it specifically for me. Then I love it. Unless it's creepy... Anyways! So I was sitting on my porch (it was gorgeous today) doing school, and I just kinda go *woooo* daydreaming... So I wrote something. I don't remember where I put it, so I guess you can't read it. Haha, I might put it up sometime if I remember, but don't count on it.

Tomorrow should be an okay day. I hope. Ugh, rehearsal from 2 to freaking 6. We're gonna tour the theatre from 12:30 until rehearsal... Hopefully we'll go to Applebee's afterwards!

Uhm, I don't really have much to say. So I'ma go... Hey, it's 11:11. Make a wish!

Happy Easter!

Hey!
I got my computer back! Huzzah!

Well, it's Easter. I feel like I should do some really Spiritual post or something, but I'm just not that into it... Sad to say, but I've never really been excited for Easter. I mean, heck yeah, Jesus rose from the dead! But... that was like.. 2000 years ago... sooooooooooo.......... yeah. I dunno. It's just an anniversary. Now He's alive forever. Yeah... I dunno. I'm strangely unenthusiastic about a lot of things right now.

Urgh, this morning my mom took us to the sunrise service. At 7am. In 40 degree weather. Outside. Yeah, not fun. That's probably why I'm grumpy right now :]

Lately I've been watching this sci-fi called Sanctuary. It's pretty rad (haven't heard that term in a while). It's about monsters and this place called the Sanctuary where the monsters can live in peace, get medical treatment, and the doctors can learn more about them. I have two qualms about this show - 1) bad actors.... bleah. Ruin many shows and movies. 'Tis a shame really. 2) It's shot mainly on green-screen, so there's a TON of computer generated image. Not so into that.
Anyways, if you like monsters/sci-fi/CGI stuff, check it out. It's cool.

Uhm... yeah. That's it. Oh, pray for my friend, if you will. Actually, his brother, too. They're in bad shape right now. That's all.

Now, even though it's 9:40, I'm going back to sleep. I did not enjoy waking up at 6 this morning. Good night! Er... day!
