Hi y'all!!!
Alright, let's see, today I'm in a really bad mood. But I'm pretending I'm not. It isn't working out so well... Hrm... Oh well, I don't really care.
When I get in a bad mood, I'm really apathetic and don't care about anything. I get really selfish... oops. Today I have a pretty legitimate reason - I was in a lot of pain. I don't know what it was, but my entire abdomen was hurting like crazy... I was at church, and ended up having to lie down. :(

I need to write a three page paper, and a one page paper... that oughtn't take too much effort. That's really all I have to do for school...

My friend Rachael's parents went to France and got her some clothes there. One dress was too small, so she gave it to me for my birthday. It's really cute, and I think I'll wear it on Tuesday. It's kind of short, it goes almost to my knees, so I'll have to wear jeans or leggings under it.
Girl Question: How do you compensate for too short shorts/skirts, or too short/low shirts?
My Answer: If my shorts are too short, I'll wear black leggings under them. Still looks cute, but it doesn't show as much skin. The leggings go down to right below my knees or lower if I stretch them out a bit more... If it's a skirt, I'll wear the leggings, and a pair of shorts. I run around a lot during the summer, so if I don't wear shorts under my skirts or dresses, it tends to pose a problem.
For shirts, I'll usually wear a leotard under it. I dance almost everyday, so I wear a leotard anyways, but it makes an awesome camisole, especially since I don't have any long camisoles, and it can't come untucked! If the shirt's too low, I'll wear another shirt under it, or flip a tank top around. I tend to find the front of tank tops too low, but if you wear it backwards, as silly as that seems, it works better.
Guys: I think I've said this before, but if one of your girl friends (you know what I mean) is wearing something that is... well, something you don't think she should wear, tell her. If something she does, says, etc. causes problems for you, tell her. Unless she's a real jerk, I don't think she'll mind. As Christian girls, we (usually) try pretty hard not to be distracting or immodest... but it happens. Sometimes things don't work out as well as they seem to in the mirror.

That's about all I have to say... that was a pretty serious post. Tell me what you think!

no, actually if one of my guy friends told me that my clothes were 'causing problems' for him that would really tick me off. it's really not their place. guys shouldn't be commenting on that kind of stuff. i think girls should watch out for other girls and guys should watch out for other guys.
ReplyDeletehm... yeah, I see where you're coming from. Well, this is just my point of view.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment! :]
