Disappointment

Have you ever wanted something so badly and everybody around you said it would happen...
and then...

it didn't.

Have you ever met someone and knew in an instant that you were going to be friends forever...
and then...

you weren't.

Have you ever known something would happen with every single particle in your being...
and then...

it didn't.

Sometimes it's a good thing.
This is not one of those times.
This is one of those times where all I want to do is lay in bed and not think about anything.
Not think about anything...
and think about everything.
I don't want to be mad...
I want to be furious...
I can't be mad.
I don't want to be sad...
I want so cry so bad...
I can't be sad.
I can't see the good in this.
I can't see why it happened.
I have to be patient.
I have to wait until it's explained.
Even when it's explained...
I won't understand.

Hey look, 200!

Yay! It's my 200th post!!
Uhm........................ that's all I have to say about that.

I guess I should say something significant-ish.

OHH!!! On Tuesday night something super duper duper duper duper duper awesome happened. Buuut, I guess I can't really tell you...... It's a secret. Well, if you remember the date 9-14 in like... a year maybe? Or two? I don't know. I'll tell you then. Anyways, so it was really neat and a little weird...and I still can't really believe it happened.

The Nutcracker cast list is coming out in a seven days, 12 hours, and thirty-seven minutes. Yes, I am that obsessed.

So, I think I finally decided where I want to go to school. My friend Michael goes to Oakland University, which is in Rochester, MI. It's on Squirrel Rd.... hahahahaha...... Anyways, it's pretty strong in med-anything, theatre, and possibly dance. Hey look, everything I want! It's really not that expensive at all, and one of my best friends is there. So! What do you think? I think I need a transcript. Don't laugh or be shocked, no I don't have a transcript. Yes, I'm working on that. Ha, I don't even know what my GPA is. I'm a terrible student. Oh well.

I'm sorry!!

Holy cow, it's been three weeks... My apologies!
Work and ballet started so I've been super busy... School starts very soon, and I'm looking forward to that... ??? WHAT!? That doesn't make sense! Well, when school starts I'll have a more organized schedule and work will be over... so... That's still crazy.

It's been really interesting these past three weeks... I went to Soak City, a huuuge waterpark, and had a blast (now I'm weirdly tan). I went to a cast reunion party thingymerbobby. I'm in the process of painting my room to look like this, so I'm sleeping in my sisters room while all my stuff is pushed to the middle of my room. Uhm... I got married? Haha, but not for real! I got married to Jalen. The ceremony was... interesting, to say the least. Yeah, it's been fun.
OH! I saw Elf for the first time ever! And it was actually good... I never like comedies - I hate Napoleon Dynamite, and Dumb and Dumber - but it was really good. Will Ferrell is a little eh, but I liked the movie.

Uhmmmmm yeah... OHOHOH!! NUTCRACKER AUDITIONS IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! ... ahem. If you couldn't tell, I'm really excited.

That's all I guess... I'm hoping to have Ian and Jalen over today to finish up my room and then to just hang.

Haven't Been Here In A Long Time

Anyways, when was my last post? I don't ever remember. Oh, only a week ago, I'm not that bad. Happy August, by the way.

Well, I have this idea. It's been in the back of my mind since probably the beginning of high school, but it's been bugging a whole lot recently. I want to dye my hair red. I'm crazy, yeah? However, it's not because I'm being rebellious or because I don't like my natural hair color... Don't get me wrong, I love my hair color, but having red hair has been a dream of mine for a loooong time. Like... since I watched the Little Mermaid, haha. So... yeah, I want to do that.

Right now I'm in the process of reorganizing my room, which is something I like doing, except for the fact that it's *my* room, and frankly, I don't care. Now, I know that's terrible, and you should clean your room if your parents say, but hey. It's my room. Oh well, it's a way to pass time. It's also a stress reliever for me. Which is... odd to say the least. But seriously, if I'm upset or annoyed or something, I can just clean and it makes me feel better. Productive, eh?

Ah, question. How do you all feel about emoticons? These little thingies... :] :[ :P :D XD haha, I love them so much. I generally try to avoid them in my posts, though, because I don't even know. It makes me seem really middle-schoolerish to other people I guess. Or that's what I think. I also realize that my writing is really, really, really bad. If I try (really, really, really hard), I'm a good writer. Or... at least my dad says I am. However, here I just kind of write like I talk. So, I'll start a sentence with a conjunction *gasp* or something like that. But (see, right there) I don't really care. If you mind, tell me, and I'll fix it I guess... Or maybe not. Actually, I probably won't fix it simply because I'll forget, haha. I'm so sorry if I do forget, though. Thoughts?

Also, video blogging, or vlogging, is something I've been interested in since I saw Mitchell Davis's livelavalive videos. I recently found an awesome youtuber (can't remember if I told you or not) called charlieissocoollike. So... tell me what you think. I don't know if I could do it 'cause I'm super not-computer savvy. See that? I just used a pirate word.

I think that's enough rambling.
Oh, but I did get engaged to my friend Michael over the weekend. Not for real engaged, just for pretend engaged. Even though I'm already pretend engaged... If you're actually engaged, don't do that! But if it's for pretend, it should be fine.

7 months...

In seven months, minus a couple days, I'm going to be eighteen... weird. Exciting, but weird.

I'm going to Grand Rapids tomorrow!!! Yay!!! I get to go visit Iain and do this thingy for school. The person in charge of the place I'm going doesn't like high schoolers, though... Wish me luck... >_<

Today I went to Joe's house to help him paint... So... much... paint... Oh my goodness, I washed my hair like, three times and there was still paint in it. Gah.

I'm tired. And don't really have much to post. So, good night.

Paramore is awesome, and so is my best friend

Paramore. One of my most favouritest (yes, most favouritest) bands ever. Hayley Williams has one of the most amazing voices I've *ever* heard. Lately, I've been trying to learn a couple of their songs on the guitar, but they're really hard... So far I can play Turn It Off, The Only Exception, Feeling Sorry, and Misery Business. Except, I cheat and use a capo, haha.

Alright, so I lied. I said next post would be another mini-bio, but it wasn't. So I'll make up for it.

He bought us a Wonka bar to share so we were all pretty excited. I look really weird in this photo, but that's okay! I look weird in most photos. Anyways. The tall guy is Jalen. All the short people are his siblings. In height/age order, Luke, who now has super short hair, Morgan, and Parker. Surprisingly enough (as in not surprising at all), I really hated him until about sophomore year. Then my sister got to know him, and I just kinda started not to hate him. The reason I didn't like him was really dumb - when we were in about 5th grade we were in the play Twelfth Night together. He was Duke Orsino and I was Olivia. He screwed up his line and I despised him for that. Later, he and his friend Josh would tease me while I was washing the windows by putting their hands on them, right after they were washed. Needless to say, they got some Windex on them... Anyways, I really didn't like him. Or his little friend, Josh, but that's a different matter. Now we're super tight, and it's really funny.
Some odd facts... uhm... Let's see, his birthday is on October eleventh, so in 2012, his birthday will be 10-11-12!! We have virtually identical music tastes. There are about two songs he likes that I don't, and I don't think he doesn't like anything I listen to. If that made sense. We also have the same favourite colour.
I could keep going on and on, but I don't have time. So... yeah.

For the guy who's my best friend, even though I despised him for the first ten or so years I knew him. Love you! :]

By the way, I have a whole lot of best friends, if you didn't catch that already.

Do you ever say, "I should have?"
I've realized that I hardly ever regret anything. If I do, it drives me absolutely nuts and I get really depressed. I don't, and my friends definitely don't, appreciate when I'm depressed, so I try to stay happy. That's so superficial, but I don't like seeing people sad. If people see me sad, they usually end up a little less happy.

That's all that's on my mind... Well, not all, but all that you get to know.

*ahem* anyways. I'm really bored. Really, really bored. I shouldn't be. This is the bored where I really ought to be doing something productive - like eating or doing chores - but I'd really rather stay in my room and do absolutely nothing. That's a problem.

This morning I was in dreamland having some obscure dream that I don't even remember anymore. Then my phone rang. My bed is, at the moment, covered in stuffed animals due to some shelf-moving that's happening right now. I dug around for a while and finally found the dumb phone after it stopped ringing, of course. Now, while I'm not a huge fan of being woken up, I don't mind being woken up by a friend's phone call. It was Jalen wondering about the Art Fair that's going on right now. I really want to go, but with my mom up north and us only having one car down here, that's kind of hard. So we'll try tomorrow. I hope.

I went to Eaton Rapids camp this weekend! It was really fun. I wish I could've stayed longer. It was pretty cool, we had a bunch of Bible studies and worship times. The whole camp is super Spirit-infused. It's really neat.

That's really all I have to say... Not much has been going on around here. Let's see if that'll change.
