I'm back!

After two and a half months on Tumblr, I really like Blogspot better… So here I am again.
Surprisingly, I haven't lost any followers… Wow.

First off, I'm in the midst of a 3OH!3 obsession right now. I absolutely love their music, but their lyrics are less than stellar. Quite a bit of language and inappropriate content, so if you can't handle that, you probably shouldn't listen to it. However, they make all their music on the computer, and it's pretty sweet. You could listen to Beaumont or Tapp, those are just instrumental pieces. Love.

Secondly - well, right now my life is a tangled ball of yarn, wrapped up in impossible knots and coated with the stickiest tree sap you could imagine. In other words, I'm stressed.
I'm have a lot of trouble in school, but that's fairly usual for me. It's not that I'm a bad student, I actually get really high grades, considering, but I'm pretty bad at time management and knowing when to say no to extracurricular things.
I'm still dancing ten hours a week, which will soon be more. AH! SO EXCITED! I got cast as Mina in a Dracula pas de deux AND I get to dance with the best partner I personally know. Happy face :]
I have a violin thing on Sunday, so I have to practice my violin for the first time in… well, a long time. Now I'm in the negative time slot on my calendar…
I'm also working on Once Upon A Mattress…
I'm really bad at this time thing.

Then in addition to the whole less than enough time deal, I'm being a…well, a not so great friend.
Le sigh. (It's French for "the sigh")
I should work on that… Although for the time being, I think it's settled down… I hope…

Just checking back in here. I'll definitely be posting some more, but I'm not exactly sure how much. Also, the posts probably won't be any that much longer than this… And the longest will be worth reading, I promise! There just won't be many of those.

Love,
Sarah @)~

P.S. What should I post about? Assuming someone reads this every once in a blue moon…

I'm moving!!

Not houses, just blogs. Don't worry, I'll still follow you all. If you want to continue following me, click here. If you don't, no worries. It's been wonderful being here. I might still make the occasional post here, but for the most part, it'll be on tumblr.

Merry Christmas!!

Yay! Christmas! Everybody looks forward to Christmas, yeah? Eh, not so much. I actually don't. But that's besides the point. Or, it's with another point. Not the point I want to make in this post.
I made a tumblr, so I'll probably be posting there more than here. Check it out. It's cool.

Oh my goodness... So many college applications... Boo. 'Kay, I have to work on those now.

Nutcracker is over!

Oh my goodness, I've had the time of my life.
The shows went pretty well, I think. No major damage done, although I strained my inner thigh from sitting on someone's shoulders for Mother Ginger.... I also fell in Chocolate, but it wasn't that bad.
Have some photos! This is definitely going to be a picture post.

Chocolate... and Jalen
Maids: Alexandria, Lorna, and me
Alexandria, me, and Genna between rehearsals
Me and Genna
Me, Paulina, Alexandria, Becca, and Katie
Pre-Pro '10 - Disco Nutcracker!!
In order of legs: Alexandria, Paulina, Becca, Genna, Me.

That's pretty much our studio. I love us. Every year we do a disco Nutcracker, dress up crazy, and parody our own Nutcracker. It rawks. Just saying.
I'll try to find a picture of me and my partner for Chocolate, I think there's one in my sister's camera. Unfortunately, the Snow scene is in between two quick changes, so I never got any Snowfaerie photos.
That's all. I think my next post will be on Youtube, but that might take a while, so I don't want to add it here.

:(

My sister is getting her appendix removed... This is weird.
Well, prayer for her would be awesome.

I. Hate. Snow.

I really do. I really hate snow. Yeah, it's pretty, yeah it's amazing. However... I CAN'T DRIVE IN IT. I might have almost died like three times on my way home today. Ugh. It's also cold and wet and makes me cold and cold and cold. I hate the cold. I'd much rather sit next to a warm fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate. And it also cancels awesome things. Hrmph.

Anyways, enough complaining. Nutcracker!!!!!!!!! We're in the theatre in two days!!! Oooooohhhhh my goodness I'm so exited.

Ooh, food. Alright, I'm going to eat and finish watching the Return of the King.

Sigh

So. My friend is having a hard time right now. He keeps getting shut down by silly things that shouldn't matter as much as they do and he's getting really depressed. Prayer for him would be cool, yo. Hehe, I just used yo in a sentence.

~~~
Often times I don't really want to go home. I just want to stay at dance, or stay at my friends' house, or stay at church. I just don't like being at my house. Maybe it's the loud, argumentative siblings. Maybe it's the parents never satisfied with schoolwork or chores.
~~~

It's been snowing like mad. It's hard to drive now...

Nutcracker in less than a week!!! Oh my goodness!! I finally got my pointe shoes today. I know what I'll be doing for the next three hours... Ugh, I hate sewing.

Well... I guess I have more important things to be doing. Like history and sewing. Actually, I'll probably only sew. So good night.

Hey there, December

Well, failure. That whole every day thing didn't work out so well. The last day was a whatever you want day, so... whatever.

Snowsnowsnowsnow.
I hate the cold. I hate it so much. I have to wear so many layers of clothing and still freeze. I'm constantly borrowing sweaters from my friends, because mine alone doesn't cut it. I'm always cold already, even in the spring and fall, so winter is just torture. But, I like snow. It's pretty.

Happy Advent!

Five weeks until Christmas...

Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days:
Oh jeez. Let's see, getting through these darned subject tests, getting into University of Michigan, having a crazy-awesome 18th birthday, not going to Europe (sounds crazy, yeah?), maybe a relationship depending on my maturity level at that time, starting college, and MOVING OUT.
Yes, I am very excited for college, but mostly for the whole idea of not being at my house. Don't get me wrong, I'm very, very grateful that I have a house and a family who gets along... semi-well... well, we all love each other. But, at the same time, I've been here for almost 15 years. I'm ready to move on.
No, I don't know how to take care of a husband or kids yet. Heck, I hardly know how to take care of myself. But, in my opinion, that's what the whole college thing is for. I have to get a job and make my own money. I have to make my own food. I have to clean my own room!! Oh my goodness. Yes, it's for education and learning about careers and such, but education is so much more than that. Education is learning how to conduct yourself in the "real world." I've been home schooled all my life, so I've been very... not "sheltered" per-se, but I've been surrounded by Christians my whole life. One has to learn to deal with people of other religions, cultures, races, etc. Culturally, I think I'm fairly well rounded. Racially, well, I'm a minority myself, my mom was born and raised in Indonesia, so the whole idea that skin color makes someone different really bothers me. Religiously? Again, being surrounded by Christians my whole life, I need to learn how to share Christ with those who don't know Him, or even those who are opposed to Him. I need to learn how to be strong in my beliefs, respect others' beliefs, and continue spreading the Gospel in a way that would make my Lord proud to call me His child.

Anyways, this turned out to be a way longer post than I had anticipated. Well, now you know my views on college.

I'm sorry!

Well, November is almost over and I totally failed this. But I have a new computer now, so I might be able to post more. Maybe.

A YouTube video:
So incredibly cute.

Whatever tickles your fancy:
Yesterday I ate two Pizza Hut personal pizzas and felt very fat. I also studied for... about nine consecutive hours. Death. On. A. Stick. Yeah, next week I'm taking these subject tests so I can go to college.

Your day, in great detail:
My dad woke me up at 9 and said I needed to start getting up earlier 'cause I have to wake up at 6 next Saturday. Then he said I had to take my sisters to church and gave me $9 for breakfast. Then... I fell back asleep for an hour, then I got up and got on the computer. Later I'm going to church, studying some more, and possibly going to Christ the King. I hope.

Your week, in great detail:
Monday: I wrote two papers and did about 40 pages of history homework, then I went to ballet, I didn't have rehearsal 'cause Corey was sick, then I went home, did more homework, and went to bed.
Tuesday: I went to Explorers. During first hour, my boot broke, so during third hour study hall I ran to DSW where my daddy got me a new pair of sneakers. Yay! During drama people got scripts, but not me :( I didn't have $20 and my mom was sick. After that I went to ballet and we talked about the Spring Recital. After that I went to Prayer Meeting at Christ the King which was pretty fun. Kristin brought a bunch of candy! Yay. Then we went to Applebee's, but I was broke and we needed gas, so Jalen was super nice and shared his food.
Wednesday: ...was depressing. I pretty much studied all day? Then I went to ballet. Then I went home and watched Youtube videos all night.
Thursday: I studied, ate ramen, went to the Haak's for Thanksgiving lunch/dinner, played Guitar Hero, and watched Toy Story 3 for the first time. It was a good movie.
Friday: I studied for like, six hours. Then I went to Jalen's house and took a finance test. I couldn't do it at home, 'cause I lost my book... oops. We watched Enchanted, then kinda just sat on the couch and did nothing... it was very nice. There was snow when I was driving home...
Saturday: I went to dance, I went to Target, ate said pizzas, got a new pair of snowboots, and studied for NINE HOURS.

This month, in great detail:
I don't remember! I do the same things every day!

This year, in great detail:
Dates to remember: 2/14, 2/26, 4/14, 6/24, 9/14. I don't really feel like writing this all out. And I have to go to church. So bye!
